You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Deputy Commander, Undersea Technology (SEA 07) organization; of NAVSEA. This position provides Logistics Technical documentation support to the Submarine Program Office in PEO SSBN, PEO SSN, and PEO UWS.
Duties
You will resolve complex product support problems by developing, initiating and overseeing the implementation of unique corrective actions.
You will develop management evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology as a result of the studies performed.
You will develop Technical documentation Management Procedures.
Ensure systems product support strategy elements are incorporated into acquisition documentation, procurement specifications, contracts, and engineering documents.
You will measure and evaluate program accomplishments, effectiveness, and/or compliance with meeting specific goals, objectives, rules, and regulations.
You will enhance product support readiness and support effectiveness.
You will employ Navy Enterprise Logistics information technology systems to develop and deploy products.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-02 (GS-11) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector using, evaluating, managing, and maintaining policies, processes, and infrastructure required to provide Logistics Technical Documentation (LTD) and Technical Data Packages (TDP) for readiness and operational capability of major weapons systems.
