You will serve as a TRANSITION READINESS PROGRAM MANAGER in the MARINE & FAMILY PROGRAMS BRANCH of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.
Duties
You will develop, conduct and maintain a marketing and public relations campaign to promote the Career Resource Center services to all levels of the military community and public sector.
You will plan, develop, and implement workshops for Job Search Skills, Resume Preparation and other workshops necessary to meet the career needs of clients.
You will plan and assign projects and reviews them upon completion, develops position descriptions and performance standards.
You will cooperate fully in the EEO counseling process, formal investigation and resolution of EEO issues arising within the organization.
You will serve as the principal person for coordination and liaison with Federal, State, County, City and local offices and private industry to establish integrity, efficiency of program and to maximize services provided to clients.
You will perform supervisory duties to include: approve leave and time cards, conduct performance evaluations and employee development, participate in the process for recruitment and selection of personnel for the Transition Readiness Program.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, directing, implementing and performing quality assurance on program and client services (i.e. Transition Readiness Program, Pre-Retirement Seminars, Youth Employment, Family Member Employment Assistance Program); and establishing installation program goals and objectives.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
