You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the OFFICE OF THE COMMANDER, AIRBORNE COMMAND CONTROL AND LOGISTICS WING, NAVAL BASE VENTURA COUNTY, COMAEWINGPAC.

Duties

You will perform administrative and managerial functions of the office and provide technical advice and guidance to squadron managers. You will provide solutions to difficult manning problems and civilian personnel issues. You will make manpower recommendations based on mission priorities. You will serve as a consultant to the Wing Commander on the determinations of rating and military occupation codes. You will ensure manning requirements reflect proper experience and expertise required. You will develop and coordinate solutions to critical manning shortages. You will plan and implement continuing personnel management services and programs.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing work functions and organizational processes to provide recommendations for manpower/personnel effectiveness and efficiency. Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a doctoral degree
OR
