You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Human Resources Division, Labor and Employee Relations Branch of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWC PHILA DIV) providing program management oversight for Internal and External Awards Recognition Program, Drug Free Workplace Program, Telework Program, Performance Management systems (DEMO and DPMAP) and work life programs.

Duties

You will coordinate team initiatives and balancing workload/tasks including monitoring the team's progress. You will identify and develop solutions to management problems. You will analyze and evaluate the Division's programs/projects and issues and develop and interpret guidance. You will provide advice and/or counsel and instruction to Workforce and Command Leadership on program methods. You will plan, schedule and carry out major projects regarding evaluation of programs/organizational effectiveness. You will provide program support and management analysis related to awards, telework, work life concepts, and practices in order to resolve complicated management issues.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing program management (e.g., consulting and advising) for benefit programs or Performance Management systems to execute human resource programs (e.g., external awards, incentive awards, honorary awards, DEMO/DPMAP awards, telework programs, Drug Free Workplace Program, work life programs). Examples of Qualifying Experience may include advising on Internal and External Awards Recognition, Drug Free Workplace, Telework Program, and other work life programs; providing program management over the Performance Management systems (DPMAP and Demonstration Project); advising senior-level management officials on issues related to awards; demonstrated experience leading a team of personnel in executing program functions.
