This position is located at the Small Business Administration, Office of Small Business Development Centers within the Office of Entrepreneurial Development in Washington D.C. Accountable for the overall supervision of grants and budgetary management of the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) program.
Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* As a warranted Grants Officer, is accountable for the overall supervision of grants and budgetary management of the SBDC program.
* Conduct management analysis within the office; plan, direct, and manage the work of a team of grants management specialists, a financial program analyst, and a program specialist.
* Review financial examinations, manage all specialty grants, develop, and implement plans that support disaster response, internal controls and legislative, regulatory and policy changes.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen
- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- You may be required to serve a one year supervisory probationary period.
Qualifications
GS-14:
Specialized Experience: At least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector performing ALL of the following:
(1) Administering and executing full life-cycle of grants, including cooperative agreements; AND
(2) Developing, communicating and implementing Federal grant assistance regulations, policies and procedures to provide expert advice and assistance to subordinates, program staff and cooperative agreements; AND
(3) Serving and or possessing authority to sign and approve grants; AND
(4) Leading individuals to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
