About the Position: This position is with the 63rd Readiness Division, Director of Information Management Office located at Moffett Field, California.
Duties
Develop systems, controls, and budgets to effectively manage Information Management Office (IMO) product and service delivery within the region.
Monitor operations of all information technology (I.T.) equipment and systems.
Assign and evaluate the work of others; establish priorities of effort based on mission analysis and directives.
Determine I.T. requirements; execute life cycle management of the Command’s I.T. assets.
Execute and comply with statutorily imposed requirements for I.T. procurements, including efficient and effective investments in I.T.
Forecast I.T. budget requirements; manage and execute allocated budget.
Monitor technology trends.
Serve as a technical adviser for the Commander.
Train and mentor employees to fully develop skills aligned to the core competencies required to execute the Command, Control, Communication, Computer Information Management (C4IM) Base Operations and other direct support functions for the Command.
Supervise configuration management activities in support of the Readiness Division SharePoint Portal.
Collaborate with other functional departments and develop solutions to administrative problems as a member of the Command staff.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves providing information resources management stewardship and guidance; monitoring operations of information technology (I.T.) equipment and systems; managing the delivery of I.T. services within a distributed enterprise service and support matrix; monitoring technology trends and recommending appropriate changes to Command systems and procedures.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-12).
