You will serve as a Program Manager in the Naval Air Warfare Center Science & Technology Reinvention Laboratory of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will advise program participants on plans, schedules, methods, policies, or objectives.
You will administer program finances, human capital resources, or technical components to meet program operational commitments.
You will develop strategies for achieving organizational program objectives.
You will lead meetings to address program issues (e.g., strategic planning, financial reviews, risk reviews)
You will prepare program plans for accomplishing program goals and schedules.
You will compose executive level proposals, reports, and other communications in support of agency initiatives.

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-03/GS-09 to GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Observing and applying STRL position management and classification principles; analyzing, monitoring, and reducing costs; forecasting budgets; and providing information to higher level management on future staffing, facility space, and equipment needs. 2) Preparing all planning documents associated with program organization, product development and material acquisition including budgets, schedules, reports, and associated records. 3) Leading organization in realizing both the local Division (i.e., Aircraft or Weapons Division) and the NAVAIR Strategic Plan. 4) Serving as the single point of contact for all the NAWC and interfaces with headquarters, contractors, and other government activities involved in the program. 5) Directing the activities of a staff of assistant managers, project engineers, business managers, and/or functional specialists (who may or may not be under the manager's administrative control) for overall technical/project direction of the program. 6) Providing overall direction, coordination, and management of all facets and functions of a major technical program or several closely related programs.
