You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of NAVSUP HQ.
Duties
You will utilize data warehouses to identify and cleanse logistical and financial data.
You will conduct data mining, trend analysis, and simulations for financial data.
You will perform problem definition, analysis, and recommendations.
You will communicate results and present findings to impacted parties.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of Financial Management Analyst specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service cleansing, analyzing, and interpreting financial data; working with data warehouses and associated software tools; conducting root cause analysis, and assessing impact of business processes and policy changes. Specialized experience must include the following duties: 1.) Utilizing data warehouses to identify and cleanse logistical and financial data; 2.) Conducting data mining, trend analysis, and simulations for financial data; 3.) Performing problem definition, analysis, and recommendations; 4.) Quantifying volume and dollar impact of policy changes; 5.) Communicating results and presenting findings to impacted parties.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11 SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE:
Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, LL.M, or have completed three full years of progressively higher-level graduate level education leading to such a degree. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.
GS-11 COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
