Salary Ranges are the following unless statutory/regulatory rates prevail. For the Redstone Arsenal, AL Location: $127,073 to $191,900 (includes 21.48% locality) For the Schriever AFB, CO Location: $125,242 to $191,508 (includes 19.73% locality) For the Vandenberg, CA Location: $142,094 to $191,900 (includes 35.84% locality) For the Fort Drum, NY Location: $122,198-$186,854 (includes 16.82% locality)

Duties

The position(s) covered by this vacancy announcement is in the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). For more information please see: AcqDemo This position is part of the Department of Defense (DoD), Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The incumbent will be responsible for serving as a senior manager, supervisor, and recognized authority/advisor to the Commander/Executive Director/Director/Program Manager developing, plans, promulgates, and interprets program policy and guidance. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. As a Supv Program Analyst at the NH-0343-4 broadband level some of your typical work assignments may include: Manages the development of integrated plans and schedules for operations support related deliverables to meet critical milestones within the Ground Systems and Readiness Program portfolio. Support Agency interests in the fielding of Ground Systems and Readiness capability to include training, Concept of Ops (CONOPs), reliability, maintainability, availability and sustainment requirements. Coordinates actions, resolves problems and responds to the needs of the Agency and the Warfighter Community. Advises the Ground Systems and Readiness Operations Support Functional Lead and Senior managers in the Ground Systems and Readiness Program Office of activities results and recommendations related to project development and management. Provides managerial and technical support in development, monitoring and tracking of Ground Systems and Readiness related sustainment efforts including reliability and maintainability data relating to Ground Systems and Readiness combat system elements. Establishes and maintains liaison with organizations both internal and external to MDA for operational support-related deliverables, briefs the program status and plans and justifies budgets to the Functional Lead, Program Managers and other Senior Managers as required. Provides on-site Program Office technical liaison support, planning, and coordination support response to real world events. Establishes plans, objectives, budgets and priorities for operational support that conform to those of the overall program and executes them. Supervise functional staff in support of a fielded weapon system ensuring maximum availability to Warfighter.

  • Employee must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Investigation (TS/SCI) clearance

Qualifications

You may qualify at the NH-04 broadband level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below: Brief Agency and Department of Defense (DoD) senior leaders and department officials Direct the operations and sustainment of a major weapon system to include providing operations support as well as reimbursable services from host installations. Use program management principles, concepts, methods, standards and practices, particularly in assessing and documenting risk and risk mitigation processes of a major weapon system. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Please limit your resume to five pages.
