You will serve as a RESERVE ORDERS ASSISTANT in the DON Naval Reserve Center of NOSC KITSAP.
Duties
You will provide Administrative Coordination for processing all Annual Training (AT),Active Duty Training (ADT), Travel, and Inactive Duty Training Travel (IDTT) for Reservists.
You will ensure travel authorizations and vouchers are accurate and in compliance with published instructions, regulations, laws, and established policies.
You will provide advice, train and assist management in search of sound solutions to problems in support of training services.
You will communicate verbally and in writing with customers, superiors, subordinates, and peers at all levels to negotiate changes, enforce regulations, and solve problems.
You will run monthly reports, assists in addressing corrections, and delinquencies, personal information updates, and the reinstatement process.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires Drill Weekend Support (monthly).
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience planning, organizing work, and meeting deadlines;
Experience providing advice, training and assisting management in search of sound solutions to problems in support of training services; and
Experience providing administrative services concerning the Defense Travel System (DTS) program for official government travel in compliance with Joint Travel Regulations.
