You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the Administrative Support Branch, of COMPACFLT HRO NORTHWEST.
Duties
You will provide Information Technology (IT) recommendations on allocations of IT resources within department and assists with Tech/System refresh
You will facilitate management/administration of Email Distribution Lists, File Shares or Global Groups. Works with Security
Managers to support IA investigations.
You will be responsible for control and accountability of all IT assets for the HRONW through the continuous life cycle of equipment.
You will serve as the Government Purchase Card Holder performing market research and ensuring all acquisitions are properly documented.
You will independently search catalogues, on-line vendors, and General Services Administration (GSA) contracts for the best source.
You will process all requests for supplies, training or services.
You will maintain a log of monthly card transactions, approving or disputing each transaction prior to authorization of payment and performs monthly reconciliations.
You will ensure all procurements are in accordance with applicable regulations, mandatory sources and account for all items purchased.
You will provide advice and guidance to staff on regulatory requirements, processes, and procedures for awards, records management, directives control, analytical studies, reports, etc.
You will serve as the Security Coordinator, advising personnel on policy and procedures in the safeguarding, accountability, and
control of classified information, Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI), unclassified controlled information, etc.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative and technical support functions for organizational operations (information technology, inventory, purchasing, security, safety); and utilizing knowledge of governing policies and regulations to identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions for problem areas.
