About the Position: This position is located at Fielded Force Integration Directorate, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is an hour's drive West of Fort Leonard Wood.
Duties
Provide subject matter expertise and unit collective and individual training products development for the Protection Brigade, Maneuver Enhancement Brigade and other SRC 37 organizations.
Analyze, design, develop and produce Unit Task Lists for all Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, Protection Brigade, and SRC 37 units.
Conduct collective task analysis and produces Protection collective training products.
Apply knowledge of long-range Maneuver Support Center of Excellence goals and program priorities to develop unit training.
Review and update training products to align with updated DOTMLPF requirements identified with the Capability Development process.
Plans, conducts, and leads the analysis phase of the ADDIE process.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- Weekend and after-hours duties may be required.
- Temporary Duty travel (TDY) may be required approximately 15% of the duty time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes: participating in critical collective task analysis; utilizing computer and variety of software/hardware in performance of collecting, organizing and analyzing data; developing training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results; working in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a major study in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
