About the Position: This position is with the US Army Cadet Command 7th Brigade HQS, in Fort Knox, Kentucky

Duties

Monitor Cadet Command Information Management System (CCMIS) Responsible for timely and accurate processing of all brigade cadet actions Perform complete review and process all cadet actions from subordinate units. Prepare Brigade Commander endorsement of actions and track actions. Cross-train personnel for the Brigade Accessions Packet Review Board

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) Approximately 10% of the time
  • May be required to serve a 1-year probationary period.
  • Must type 40 word per minute.

Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work of this job. Applicants with current or prior permanent Federal service must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/ level GS-05. Specialized experience at the GS-05 level is defined as: work that involves reviewing applications to determine eligibility, completing forms, maintaining personnel records, and maintaining an automated Human Resource system to review applicant material. All others must qualify based on experience at the GS -06 level. Your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience at the GS-06 level is defined as: experience processing military personnel actions, reviewing, maintaining personnel records / data, ensuring they are procedurally correct in accordance with organizations policy, experience utilizing computer processing software and other automated applications to prepare reports and correspondence for an organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-05). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Attention to DetailClericalComputer LiteracyOral Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. (MUST PROVIDE TRANSCRIPTS)

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours ( or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.(MUST PROVIDE TRANSCRIPTS)
