You will serve as a Housing Manager (Inspector) of NAVCONSTRBATCTRGPT.

Duties

You will analyze instructions and directives from higher authorities to evaluate and implement into program policies. You will assemble facts, evaluate information, and draft reports to resolve housing problems. You will advise housing management on plan to ensure maintenance and repairs are scheduled and completed.

Requirements

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1). Organizing work within PPV to ensure proper customer service and compliance with appropriate mandates of the Navy Community Service Program 2) Selecting units to be ready for onsite walk-through inspections 3) Maintaining housing applicant and resident files 4) Assisting with the investigation of complaints arising from landlord and tenant disputes. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR

Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree. OR

Have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled. OR

Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
