Duties
You will set up and operate various types of peripheral equipment for input/output operations.
You will conduct reviews of finished products to assure quality and timeliness requirements are met.
You will perform routine equipment maintenance.
You will maintain liaison with manufacturers and/or service contractors to ascertain proper repairs and to schedule preventative and emergency maintenance.
You will perform a variety of recurring information system projects to include planning, implementing and acquisition of information systems and services.
You will analyze and determine cause of malfunctions related to hardware, software or environment; and initiate corrective action.
You will maintain inventory of computer supplies necessary to keep systems functioning smoothly.
You will conduct and coordinate studies to ensure that information system requirements are properly documented and justified to procure, install, modernize, reconfigure, expand or relocate systems.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing application, evaluation, for personal computer based applications supporting facilities maintenance includes setting up and operation various types of peripheral equipment for operations; providing advice and counsel on data processing capabilities; interpreting information system requirements.

Education
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
