You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT/CLASSIFICATION) in the RECRUITMENT & STAFFING DIVISION of OCHR SAN DIEGO OPERATIONS CENTER.
Duties
You will assure uniform application of all administrative and operational policies and procedures, coordination of all related responsibilities, and resolution of problems encountered in day-to-day operations.
You will work closely with other program managers to collaborate interrelated activities and to resolve operational problems with the impact on the program area supervised.
You will distribute work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work.
You will plan and direct work of the assigned team or program area.
You will work closely with the technology staff in the evaluation and modification of software and products associated with the program area supervised.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS 13 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and directing a variety of complex technical and administrative work related to recruitment, placement and classification; providing expert authoritative advice and interpretive guidance to high level managers, supervisors and human resources officers on regulatory and policy documents such as 5 CFR, OPM Guidance, Departmental operating policy, etc.; processing personnel actions under OPM policies; and analyzing and resolving federal recruitment, placement and uncommon pay issues under OPM regulations.
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting, analyzing and evaluating human resources laws, regulations, principles and practices to provide advisory services on staffing and recruitment matters.
