About the Position: This position serves as the Management Support Officer for the HQDA Office of the Chief of Chaplains, located in Arlington, VA.

Duties

Serve as a Management Support Officer for the HQDA, Office of the Chief of Chaplains (OCCH) performing a variety of administrative work to include, correspondence management, travel, calendar management, and special projects. Perform a variety of administrative management duties in support of the organization. Draft official correspondence to include General Officer Star notes and official memoranda submitted for the CCH/DCCH's signature. Manage electronic calendars for the Deputy Chief of Chaplains (DCCH). Manage overall responsibility for DTS for executive travelers. Review all incoming correspondence and prepare replies to general inquiries and routine actions.

Qualifications

Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment NTE 13 months by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments, for current Army employees, may be extended up to a maximum of five years, and may be made permanent without further competition. Position may be filled as a term appointment NTE 13 months. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of eight years. Your appointment will be time-limited or if you are a current federal employee, you will be converted from your permanent appointment to the non-status, time-limited appointment.
