This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of the Administrator, Office of the Administration (OA).
As a Management & Program Analyst, GS-0343-13, you will provide direct support to the Administrator and OA Leadership through schedule coordination and staff assignments, provision of liaison services and monitoring/reporting on the status and condition of projects of major importance to the Administrator.
Duties
Manages the Administrator’s calendar with complete authority for scheduling; executes scheduling with maximum efficiency and constant attention to detail; makes final commitments for appointments, conferences or attendance at official functions.
Works with all levels of staff across the Agency in establishing the Administrator’s long-range calendar; coordinates and confirms appointments electronically, by telephone or through correspondence.
Reviews and analyzes papers and special project reports submitted by OA staff to determine adequacy, validity, and consistency of content in relation to management and operational objectives.
Assures development and maintenance of the serviced organization's reporting systems to provide information on status of administrative matters.
Plans and directs program studies and analyses of the missions, plans, operations, and relationships to identify operational needs.

In order to qualify for the GS-13 grade level, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include:
Manages the Administrator's calendar with complete authority for scheduling, executing scheduling with maximum efficiency and constant attention to detail; and
Establishes goals and objectives for the administrative services programs that focus administrative program resources on meeting the serviced organization's needs and ensuring consistency with the overall goals and objectives; and
Defines management requirements and ensures development of administrative plans and systems to meet those requirements.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time-in-Grade: To be eligible, current Federal employees must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
