About the Position: Fort Liberty is a culturally diverse area with both rural and city populations and is co-located at Fayetteville, NC. It is centrally located just hours away from the beautiful beaches of North Carolina and the scenic Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains.
This position is a term position not to exceed 2 years and may be extended at management discretion.

Duties
Develop comprehensive plans for providing support to command's force structure.
Serve as command representative and action officer for tasking involving force structure.
Evaluate existing or proposed force structure policies and procedures.
Collaborate with Reserve Components to develop multi-component solutions.
Present information and briefings for command staff.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- This is a Term position scheduled to last 2 years. A term position may be extended to a maximum of six years depending upon the needs of
management.
- This position requires a Drug Test Screening.
- This position is obligated.
- This position may require a TERM Trial Period.
- A one year Supervisory Probationary period maybe required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing force structure principles and procedures such as Total Army Analysis and Army Force Development Process; Preparing force structure initiatives and input to command plans; Conducting analysis for force structure initiatives; Provide recommendations based on analysis and command requirements.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12)
