About the Position: This is a Program Analyst, GS-0343-13 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Southwestern Division, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Serves as the program specialist responsible for investigating, analyzing and evaluating functions and processes for the development or improvement in managing and reporting program and project financial information for the Engineering and Construction Division's Civil Works, Military Construction and Support For Others (SFO) programs.
Duties
Research and analyze potential improvements to Engineering and Construction Divisions management systems, processes and data to evaluate for increased program effectiveness.
Perform continuous review and analysis of manual control and reporting systems, including P2 and CEFMS.
Develop overall plan of action to ensure uniform management processes, data handling, and reporting between various financial programs.
Analyze anticipated planning, design, construction and operation/maintenance funding activities.
Monitor Engineering and Construction Division program execution.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of 25% or more.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
One year of specialized experience which includes: 1). Analyzing and evaluating management practices, operating processes, budgets/financial information, AND 2). Data to improve program development. This definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade level position in the federal service GS-11.
