About the Position: The position serves as an Operations Systems Specialist for the Forces Command located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina
Duties
Performs internal and external staff coordination supporting planning, exercises, hardware and software integration and training.
Provides management of FORSCOM's Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES) Permissions (JPERMS) user accounts and other GCCS Accounts Services
Builds Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) infrastructure and updates TPFDDs in JOPES.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET Security Clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent the next lower grade level GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes (1) Experience with Army and Joint Global Command and Control Systems; 2). Experience building and updating Time Phased Force Deployment Data; 3). Overseeing software/hardware development, testing, training and fielding; and 4). Ability to apply knowledge of pertinent laws, DOD/Army regulations, directives, and instructions and polices concerning operation of Global Command and Control Systems.
