Duties
In the ESS Emerging Capabilities Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Team with primary focus on maintaining, creating, and refining analytical capabilities measuring the performance and results of the DFAS RPA program and effectiveness of each RPA Bot.
Communicate with stakeholders regarding data and analytics of the DFAS RPA program to include ESS Program Manager and team; DFAS Senior leadership; RPA Bot users and managers; IT RPA leaders, developers and Project Managers.
Performs analysis of RPA program data to include business operational data, RPA use case benefits, RPA Bot use for identification of opportunities and reporting results.
Build and maintain customer relationships bringing knowledge of both DFAS Operations and RPA capability to be a trusted advisor.
Working as a part of a team to analyze and evaluates business processes fit for RPA solutions, assisting with analyzing data about process volume, time spent on work, and efficiency opportunities.
Advocates and educates customers thru multiple forums on the benefit of utilizing RPA solutions and how to identify processes best suited for RPA.

- Please note, this is NOT a 100% virtual/remote position where work may be performed from any location in the US. This position is eligible for local telework near the duty station of the position, subject to management review and approval.
Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: Experience performing extensive data analysis and evaluation of financial systems, policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure the continuity of a financial organization's business operations; compiling financial data from various sources and ensuring their accuracy as it pertains to financial legislation and operational policies and procedures; providing substantial financial management knowledge to leadership in order to assist with the organization's core mission.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
