You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NSTC GREAT LAKES.
Duties
You will manage and evaluate command financial records using the Standard Accounting Budgeting Reporting System (SABRS) or similar system
You will use a financial management system (e.g., Wide Area Work Flow [WAWF] or similar system) to prepare analytical reports on program operations
and financial data.
You will reconcile accounts and accounting data to prepare and analyze reports
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
FOR THE GS 9
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Identify, analyze, and resolve a range of budgetary problems; 2) Perform financial management actions to include reconciling, certifying invoices, perform audits, and pulling various reports; 3) Perform technical work in support of budget analysis and administration such as maintain ledgers, compiling, consolidating, checking, and arranging funding data; 4) Knowledge of administrative and financial management systems.
GS-07
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Enter and process various accounting/budget actions; 2) Perform financial management functions to examine, verify, maintain, and reconcile accounts and accounting data; 3) Apply and adhering to the policies and procedures applicable to financial management operations

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
FOR THE GS 7
1 full year of graduate level education
or
superior academic achievement
