About the Position: Position is located at US Army Cadet Command, 3rd Brigade Headquarters, Great Lakes, IL.
Duties
Conduct financial and regulatory audits.
Manage the Government Purchase Card Program, Defense Travel System and Government Travel Card.
Verify/certify billing statements for credit card payment.
Serve as a liaison on all resource management activities
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required 10% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- Must be able to obtain Financial Management Certification Level 2.
- 1 Year probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience analyzing financial policies to provide guidance to organization; extracting and analyzing data from automated systems such as DTS; and utilizing accounting information provided by others to assess programs and make recommendations.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
