Salary: $63 633 - 82 720 per year

About the Position: Position is located at US Army Cadet Command, 3rd Brigade Headquarters, Great Lakes, IL.

Duties

Conduct financial and regulatory audits. Manage the Government Purchase Card Program, Defense Travel System and Government Travel Card. Verify/certify billing statements for credit card payment. Serve as a liaison on all resource management activities

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required 10% of the time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain Financial Management Certification Level 2.
  • 1 Year probationary period may be required.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Concepts, Policies, and Principles of FinanceFinancial Management AnalysisFinancial Management Systems Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
