You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Corporate Business & Analysis Group, Program & Business Analysis Dept, Research & Dev Business analysis Div, Weapons & Energic BR of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will provide financial management advice and guidance regarding financial regulations, policies and procedures. You will assist in managing the budget and communicates appropriate strategies to achieve division goals related to resources. You will assist in budget formulation, development, execution assistance, data call coordination efforts, consolidation, forecasting, analysis, and detailed financial reporting. You will serves as division level administrative officer responsible for processing and tracking all personnel actions.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (DA-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Using Enterprise Resource Planning (financial systems) and the financial formulation and execution processes; 2) Utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word; 3) Extracting information from financial systems and providing data analysis using Excel or other reporting tools; 4) Demonstrating understanding with application of Financial Management policy and regulation.
