You will serve as a Supervisory Engineering Technician in the Public Works Business Line, UEM Product Line (PRY32) of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will communicate daily with customer and coordinating all maintenance services for assigned facilities.
You will screen all work requirements considering issues of safety, urgency, priority, health and security and recommend or initiate appropriate action to properly maintain the facility and minimize life cycle costs.
You will maintain budget oversight, responsible for tracking estimates and expenditures and implementing controls necessary to keep budget execution in line.
You will review projects that impact assigned facilities in scope, complexity, and design to ensure that sound engineering principles are utilized and that work is compatible with existing facility systems and customer mission.
You will communicate customer concerns and desires so that proper customer focus will be incorporated in the funding decision making process.
You will make recommendations for prioritizing projects to ensure that the needs of the tenants are met regarding mission requirements and other high impact or command interest issues.
You will answer customer concerns and questions regarding their facilities requirements.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Communicating daily with customer and coordinating all maintenance services for assigned utilities; 2) Screening all work requirements considering issues of safety, urgency, priority, health and security and recommend or initiate appropriate action to properly maintain the facility and minimize life cycle costs; 3) Maintaining budget oversight; 4) Reviewing projects that impact assigned utilities in scope, complexity, and design to ensure that sound mechanical and electrical engineering principles are utilized and that work is compatible with existing utility systems and customer mission and 5) Communicating concerns and desires to leadership so that proper focus will be incorporated in the funding decision making process.
