You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Sail Coordinator Group, Weapons Repair Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.
Duties
You will be responsible for scheduling, sequencing, and work control for multiple trades and product lines directly performing work on sail systems and subsystems.
You will coordinate changes in submarine refit emphasis by revising work priorities and schedules to support the production effort.
You will participate in all critiques associated with work in the sail.
You will determine the staffing needs, training, and qualifications required, and maintain a balanced workload among subordinates through proper distribution of work projects and allotment of manpower, materials, and equipment.
You will define, develop, and document product line support processes and manage a program of continued process improvement.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:employing technical engineering methodologies to schedule, sequence, prioritize and coordinate submarine sail systems maintenance, alterations and repairs; assessing effectiveness and efficiency of work processes; and developing and implementing process improvement methods.
