You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist at the GG-12 grade level responsible for applying a wide range of knowledge of research methodologies and analytical techniques for the Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet.
Duties
You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist with responsibilities of applying a wide range of knowledge of research methodologies and analytical techniques and/or collection management systems.
You will utilize knowledge of all-source intelligence collection discipline/focus area, its customer base and attendant requirements.
You will identify intelligence gaps, research and interpret collection requirements to resolve those gaps.
You will collaborate and interact with senior intelligence community/industry/other analysts and/or experts in assigned disciplines/focus area(s.)
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
- This position requires a recurring polygraph exam.
- This position may require a 2-year probationary period.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
1) Evaluating, interpreting and integrating all-source intelligence information to develop top level intelligence assessments and reports;
2) Identifying intelligence gaps to develop collection requirements to fill those gaps;
3) Making effective and innovative use of product lines and vehicles to satisfy All-source Intelligence requirements; and,
4) Performing analysis and production tasks relative to All-source Intelligence to support operations.
