About the Position: Serves as the training coordinator for the Savannah District Engineering Division.
Duties
Ensure new employees are added to the Engineering Division’s Training website and assigned the appropriate mandatory and developmental courses.
Creates a standardized onboarding process throughout the Engineering Division.
Managing Department of the Army Interns assigned to Engineering Division.
Serves as the training coordinator for the Savannah District Engineering Division.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain all requirements for Government Purchase Card (GPC) within three months.

Specialized Experience (GS-06): One year of specialized experience which includes experience in 1) Assists new employees onboarding with completing any human resources requirements by coordinating with the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC). 2) Obtain Government Purchase Card (GPC) and purchase training, supplies, equipment, and services. 3) Serves as the training coordinator ensuring new employees are added to the Engineering Division's Training website and assigned the appropriate mandatory and developmental courses. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Specialized Experience (GS-07): One year of specialized experience which includes experience in 1) Conduct orientations, explains procedures, and assists employees with completing any human resources requirements by coordinating with the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC). 2) Purchase training supplies, equipment, and services using the Government Purchase Card (GPC). 3) Serves as the training coordinator ensuring new employees are added to the Engineering Division's Training website and assigned the appropriate mandatory and developmental courses. 4) Provide formal briefings on training subject matter with employees and responds to all questions received. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06)
