This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. This position is located in the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Information Services (I), Service Operations Delivery Division (IO) and reports to the Chief, Network Services Branch (IOO). The incumbent serves as a technical lead in managing the operations and maintenance of a variety of systems and projects which include hardware, software, account management, and network infrastructure.

As an IT Specialist (NETWORK), you will:
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience is defined as experience:
- Providing technical leadership for the agency server or network environment, working with a specialized set of complex, multifaceted information management systems; AND
- Serving as a technical lead in managing the operations and maintenance of a variety of systems and projects which include hardware, software, account management, and network infrastructure. ; AND
- Working with customers to develop requirements and analyzes, reviews, and makes
recommendations concerning the technical feasibility of user requirements and their suitability for integration within existing or planned enterprise architecture.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
