The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Directorate for Mission Integration (MI) creates a consistent and holistic view of intelligence from collection to analysis and serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) principal advisor on all aspects of intelligence. MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence.

Duties

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Work closely with the ADDNI/MI, DMI Staff Director, DMI Deputy Staff Director, and component Chiefs of Staff to advance DMI's human capital goals. Collaborate with ODNI and community counterparts to recruit the most talented individuals to work in DMI. Assist DMI leadership in shaping and executing human capital initiatives to strengthen the workforce and increase retention through training, recognition, and other HC mechanisms. Serve as program manager for the DMI awards and training program. Support organizational and personnel alignments necessary to improve mission effectiveness and increase employee satisfaction. Develop and track workforce climate survey results against actionable plan of action with key stakeholders. Develop strategic plans to support HC program initiatives; plan, develop, implement, and evaluate HC programs in response to IC directives and/or mission requirements. Cultivate and maintain productive working relationships with IC HC leadership, colleagues, HR experts, and ODNI senior leadership to share information of interest, explain the specifics of HC programs and, when appropriate, present, justify, defend, negotiate, and/or settle matters involving significant issues

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements: Strong knowledge of the IC mission, organization, roles, and responsibilities. Effective communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products. Analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to think strategically and identify needs, requirements, and develop recommendations. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member, and proactively manage competing priorities under strict deadlines. Interpersonal skills and ability to build and sustain professional networks across organizational boundaries to exert influence. Knowledge of HC principles, concepts, regulations, and practices, and demonstrated ability to plan and manage HC functions for large scale ODNI and/or IC programs. Demonstrated program management, analytic, and critical thinking skills, including the ability to conduct program assessments, identify needs and requirements, and develop process improvement recommendations for the successful implementation HC programs. Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, information in a clear, concise manner that is targeted to and meets the needs of diverse audiences with different perspectives and objectives. Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills necessary to collect data, analyze it, and develop substantive reports. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment, using strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
