Duties
You will be developing policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems , networks, and data.
You will be conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks and protection needs.
You will be promoting awareness of security issues among management and ensuring sound security principles are reflected in organizations visions and goals.
You will be performing needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions:; consulting with customers to identify and specify requirements.
You will be developing overall functional and systems requirements and specification; conducting business process reengineering.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility, conducting systems security evaluations, audits, and review, and develop cost estimates for new or modified systems.
