About the Position: ??????These positions are located within multiple U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) Brigade's (BDE). The purpose of this position is to process a variety of military Human Resource actions in support of the Brigade (BDE), its supporting companies, and recruiting stations.

Duties

Process military human resources actions in accordance with Standard Operation Procedures (SOP). Uses proper formatting to accurately prepare administrative reports for assigned organization. Ensures quality of personnel actions received before forwarding to higher headquarters. Utilizes multiple personnel systems to prepare civilian personnel action request (i.e., Requests for Personnel Actions (RPA’s). Collaborates with assigned civilian personnel service center to support the civilian human resources program. Reviews procedural correctness of human resources actions to make recommendations to management.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
  • Occasional Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is required.

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as [insert applicable field(s) of study]. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
