About the Position: This position will serve as a Training Specialist (QA) with the Quality Assurance Office, with the United States Army Warrant Officer Career College (USAWOCC) located at Fort Novosel, AL.

Duties

Performs analyses in support of training and education courses. Assesses student performance (e.g., analyzes pre-test assessments). Provides input to the needs-analysis process. Verifies technical operability of education/training products. Assists with ensuring training and education evaluations (e.g., of training support, training management, conduct of training) meet established accreditation standards. Supports the instructor certification processes, observing and evaluating the facilitation of training and education. Prepares and provides briefs and/or papers to explain, market, and justify evaluation strategies and results to internal and external agencies.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% Temporary Duty Travel (TDY).
  • Must successfully complete the Army Quality Assurance Program Quality Assurance Evaluator- Development, Apprentice/Evaluator Level within nine months of initial appointment.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Education. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
