Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Leadership and Career Development, in Irving, Texas and Washington, District of Columbia.
This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties:
Develop, implement, coordinate, and oversee a major segment of department-wide mission or career development program(s).
Develop and evaluate policies in assigned program areas, recommends actions to achieve organizational objectives, and future program objectives and improvements.
Ensure accurate, appropriately concise, and timely information is available to management and policy officials.
Plan, develop and coordinate program updates to management through briefings, presentations, and conferences.

- Probationary Period: This is a full-time permanent position (Career/Career-Conditional appointment). Upon appointment to this position, you may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.

You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
Planning and conducting program development, providing advice to managers, developing, and evaluating program performance.
Coordinating activities of office support staff, advised, and provided analytical support on problem definition, planning, methodologies, policies, and procedures.
Developing program objectives and milestones taking into account cost/schedule/performance management.
Designing and administering planning and controls for submission of data, including budgetary and program resource requests and decisions.
