You will serve as a Supervisory Industrial Specialist in the Air Systems Group, System Safety and Air Systems Engineering Department, and System Safety Division and System Safety Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will provide system safety engineering support and/or technical leadership for aircraft weapon system programs/projects.
You will interface with program and technical leadership to resolve safety issues and hazards.
You will apply system safety technical acumen and expertise to assess system level hazards and execute system safety programs.
You will coordinate and/or assign work assignments to subordinates, based on organizational priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and/or capabilities of employees.
You will provide project/program management to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements for aircraft weapon system programs/projects.
You will supervise and perform official supervisory responsibilities for assigned subordinates.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band (NM-04) or (GS-13/14) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Providing system safety engineering support and/or technical leadership for aircraft weapon system programs/projects; 2) Interfacing with program and technical leadership to resolve safety issues and hazards; 3) Applying system safety technical acumen and expertise to assess system level hazards and execute system safety programs; 4) Coordinating and/or assigning work assignments to subordinates, based on organizational priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and/or capabilities of employees; 5) Providing project/program management to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements for an aviation program
