You will serve as a Supervisory Industrial Specialist in the Air Systems Group, System Safety & Air Systems Integration Dept of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will be responsible for formulating, planning, supporting, coordinating, executing, and integrating a broad range of scientific, engineering and logistics programs.
You will perform systems safety work involving the engineering analysis of weapons systems to identify and eliminate safety hazards inherent in the design.
You will monitor, review, and evaluate strategic factors which influence the scope of work performed and support provided, as well as the resources necessary for the division to meet current and future strategic requirements.
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employee.
You will plan work and prepare performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12/13 or pay band NM-04 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience MUST demonstrate the following: 1) Must have experience in aviation system safety including formulating, planning, supporting, coordinating, executing, and integrating a broad range of scientific, engineering and logistics programs in the technical areas of system safety, environmental engineering, systems engineering, aeromechanics, structures, subsystems, propulsion and power.
DAWIA Requirement: This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and has been identified as a Career Field; N-Engineering/Tech Management at Level II- Practitioner. You are responsible for meeting applicable DAWIA certification requirements, including maintaining currency in your career field.
