This position is located in the Division of Insurance and Research, Large Bank Pricing Section, responsible for implementing and monitoring the Corporation’s risk-based deposit insurance assessment program for Large Banks.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify for the CG-13: Applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience examining or analyzing the financial conditions and performance of insured depository institutions; recommending corrections for weakness or deficiencies.
To qualify for the CG-14: Applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience examining or analyzing the financial conditions and performance of insured depository institutions; recommending correction of weakness or deficiencies; serving as a corporate/company liaison or technical expert.
