Duties
You will represent the organizational unit in all clerical matters both internally and externally.
You will mentor junior office managers within the organization.
You will prepare, review, and edit standard correspondence, reports, and other documents.
You will assist employees with travel arrangements by performing travel preparation and processing travel documents.
You will perform shipping, receiving, inventory control, reconciliation, and property removal recording.
You will maintain the supervisor's calendar, schedule appointments, and arrange meetings.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DG-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Providing a full range of administrative support duties including planning, coordination, and prioritization of tasks; 2) Processing travel documents though Defense Travel System; 3) Assisting with new hire coordination efforts, and creating new hire related paperwork requirements; and 4) Initiating or drafting non-technical correspondence, reports, and miscellaneous documents.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
