This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, HQ, Washington, D.C. of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of developing and maintaining expertise in datasets used to assess regulated institutions' compliance with depositor and consumer protection standards.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-13 - To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience assisting with conducting quantitative analysis of consumer financial products or services; writing code to conduct the analysis using statistical software packages (such as SAS, Stata or R); and communicating analysis results orally and in written reports.
CG-14 - To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience conducting quantitative analysis of consumer financial products or services; writing code to conduct the analysis using statistical software packages (such as SAS, Stata or R); and communicating analysis results orally and presenting written reports.
