You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS BRANCH of the STRATEGIC MISSIONS SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DIVISION in the GLOBAL DETERRENCE & DEFENSE DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $128,043).
Duties
You will serve as the Quality Focal Point for Strategic Missions Systems Engineering Division.
You will collect, review and analyze monthly metrics, represent division at department quality meetings, perform yearly self-assessments, schedule and facilitate yearly management reviews, quarterly inspections and all ISO audits.
You will input and provide oversight on all Crane Action Management System actions.
You will oversee completion of Product Quality Deficiency Reports and Out of Tolerance Notices.
You will review and coordinate the development of project and division documents.
You will coordinate, lead, and/or facilitate continuous improvement projects within the division.
You will ensure processes are being documented and followed.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current NAVSEA Green Belt certification.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating management systems or processes to lead in the development and implementation of operational improvement strategies to improve organizational effectiveness, efficiency and productivity.
