This position is located in the Office of Workplace Diversity (OWD), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) located in Washington, DC. Relocation expenses will not be paid.

Duties
The incumbent serves as the primary point of contact in the Office of Workplace Diversity (OWD) for FCC managers, supervisors, employees and applicants regarding the agency’s informal process to resolve disputes, disagreements, or complaints on a wide range of work related matters. Promotes the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in workplace disputes and grievances working closely with Agency employees and managers to promote conflict resolution techniques, present and resolve workplace disputes, and improve working relationships and employee morale. Reports directly to the Acting Director of OWD. In addition, they develop and deliver training on the FCC’s ADR Program, including but not limited to communication, conflict resolution skills, and mediation.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. GS-13 In order to be deemed as qualified, candidates must have one year of specialized experience which is equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as follows: 1. Experience serving as the primary point of contact for FCC managers, supervisors, employees, and applicants regarding the agency's Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program. 2. Experience providing technical expertise and guidance to FCC staff regarding ADR matters. 3. Experience developing remedies for resolving disputes.PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
