As a Management Analyst at the GS-0343-14, you will be part of Human Capital Data Mgmt and Modernization, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be the Enterprise Data Governance Program Manager responsible for providing oversight for the implementation of a cohesive enterprise data governance strategy for the Human Capital domain, including Human Resources, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits and other mission support data.
Duties
Chair the OPM Data Stewardship Committee.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data across the organization.
Develop data literacy policies and establish the expectations for data literacy in the organization.
Qualifications
For the GS 14: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade GS-13 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent in the private or public sector which includes: 1) supporting an enterprise data governance program (possibly add an example) by ensuring adherence to one or more aspects of an enterprise data governance framework for data practices, policies, and standards both at a technical and functional level.; 2) improving data governance across the entire data management lifecycle; 3) supporting a data stewardship program (example) within an agency across organizational boundaries by facilitating the development and implementation of data protection and data quality; 4) communicating and presenting data strategies and policies, orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences.
Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS14 level.
