This position is located in the Office of Workplace Diversity (OWD), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) located in Washington, DC. Relocation expenses will not be paid.

Duties
The incumbent is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and program support functions for the Director of the Office of Workplace Diversity and staff. Assists the Director and staff in maintaining a point-of-contact with other offices within the Agency, external agencies, private industry officials, committees, and program coordinators to carry out the EEO compliance program, training initiatives (including EEO and DEIA training), DEIA matters and initiatives (e.g., work force, EEO and workplace issues), and special emphasis programming and observances.

Qualifications

GS-9 Candidates may qualify based upon education OR specialized experience OR a combination of both education and experience. A. EDUCATION Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related OR B. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE In order to be deemed as qualified, candidates must have one year of specialized experience which is equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: 1. Experience performing and coordinating equal employment and administrative services to support the FCC's Equal Employment Opportunity Program. 2. Experience recommending and/or implementing strategies to ensure current EEO directives and instructions and other appropriate regulations are adhered to throughout the FCC. 3. Experience analyzing and monitoring workforce and applicant data.

C. Combination of both education and experience
GS-11 Candidates may qualify based upon education, specialized experience or a combination of both education and experience. A. EDUCATION Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR
LL.M., if related OR B. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE In order to be deemed as qualified, candidates must have one year of specialized experience which is equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: 1. Experience performing and coordinating equal employment and administrative services to support the FCC's Equal Employment Opportunity Program. 2. Experience providing advice and guidance designed to assist Bureau managers and supervisors in developing and carrying out affirmative action plans. 3. Experience recommending and/or implementing strategies to ensure current EEO directives and instructions and other appropriate regulations are adhered to throughout the FCC.4. Experience analyzing and monitoring workforce and applicant data. OR C. Combination of education and experience.
