About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Rock Island, IL. This is an obligated position. Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or detail NTE 13 months by a current permanent Army employee.

Duties

Establish standard operating procedures and performance metrics to manage Common Levels of Support in accordance with Army Baseline Services (ABS) and related Service Support Programs in select logistics ABS. Directly supervise work center staff for plans and operations, resource management, administration, information technology, and ammunition supply and is performance rater for employees under direct supervision. Perform overall planning for the Logistics Readiness Center by analyzing mission assignments, establishing program objectives and developing current and long-range plans for accomplishment of assigned functions to include contingency planning. Analyze the division short- and long-range strategic logistics planning objectives and goals.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. The employee may be required to work overtime.
• Temporary duty travel of 10% may be required.
