You will serve as the Engineering Development Laboratory (EDL) Team Lead in the Combat Systems Support Equipment (CSSE) Engineering Branch of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, Located in Port Hueneme, CA.
Duties
You will serve as a Senior Technical Expert and Lead in the oversight, organizing and performance of EDL project-oriented assignments relative to Combat Systems (CS) Equipment.
You will execute the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) efforts for Electronic Cooling Water Systems (ECWS), 400 Hz Power Conversion Systems (PCS), and other equipment/systems throughout the ships life cycle.
You will provide and perform work assignments requiring a highly technical level of knowledge in the field of shipboard electronic systems with a deep diversified knowledge of the latest CS.
You will lead ad-hoc, multi-agency teams in investigations and studies to evaluate and resolve equipment and system anomalies.
You will develop White Papers, Ship Change Documents (SCDs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
You will provide Senior Level Management support information relating to CSSE Projects and other interfaces associated with the Fleet Modernization Programs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical oversight of Combat Systems Support Equipment (CSSE) projects to execute In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) efforts for systems applicable to technical and engineering life cycle requirements and to provide corrective recommendations to the Fleet.
