About the Position: Winn Army Community Hospital at Fort Stewart, GA. Work is in an office setting with some daily administrative work in the medical supply warehouse. Routine work hours are 0730-1630 Monday - Friday. Occasional overtime is required mainly during fiscal year end closeout and fiscal year end beginning.

Duties

Orders expendable and durable medical and non-medical supplies through various vendors. Follows up on orders. Assist customers identify and obtain standardized medical supply items. Train customers on advanced features of medical supply system. Manage supply levels and reorder points for supply items stocked in the warehouse. Review daily, weekly, and monthly Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) computer generated manager referrals and determines requirement for stock.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position may require incumbent to travel up to 5% of the time.
• Inclement Weather Essential - The incumbent will be required to report to work during times of natural disasters, extreme weather or other emergency situations.

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as supply chain management or logistics. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
