About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Regional Network Enterprise Center.

Duties

Provides advice and assistance to managers and supervisors on complex workforce development. Establishes internal procedures to secure adequate control in terms of deadlines, progress reports, and directives. Develops workload-based staffing standards to determine organizational manning levels. Analyzes and evaluates proposed changes in mission and operating procedures. Compiles results of employee surveys to evaluate course effectiveness.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• Subject to callback requirement to report to duty within 2 hours of notification due to mission requirements.
• Due to the nature of this position, employees are required to work both planned and unscheduled overtime on short notice to include nights, holidays, and weekends in support of related mission requirements.
