You will serve as a Secretary to the Commanding Officer (CO) and Executive Officer (XO) of the Squadron of TRARON SEVEN.
Duties
You will receive visitors and telephone calls to the executive office.
You will determine nature of call and determines calls that should be referred to the Commanding Officer (CO) and Executive Officer (XO) and those that can be redirected to subordinate departments.
You will respond to to many calls concerning administration, office policies and procedures, and answers questions on the varied subject matters regarding established operational and administrative policies.
You will maintain the Commanding Officer's and Executive Officer's calendars based upon own knowledge of workload and current activities.
You will coordinate with staff required arrangements for VIP’s and other high ranking visitors, such as accommodations, flags, honors, etc. and advise appropriate personnel of the impending visit.
You will edit correspondence to be signed for conformance with regulations, grammar, format, clarity, content meaning, and completeness of background material, enclosures, etc.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position requires occasional travel by commercial or government conveyance.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector serving as clerical and administrative support to an organizational unit. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Preparing, editing, and maintaining memoranda and correspondence; 2) Advising others on established procedures and refer non-routine requests to the appropriate staff member; 3) Scheduling meetings, events, or trainings; 4) Performing general administrative functions such as answering phone calls and receiving visiting personnel.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of 4 years above high school.
