You will serve as a Secretary (OA) within the Navy Technical Training Center (NTTC), Meridian, MS.
Duties
You will prepare a wide variety of personal and executive correspondence, reports, and other documents.
You will compose information request concerning programs, letters of acknowledgement, commendation, or notifications.
You will develop standard form letters for responding to inquiries, and requests information.
You will review and process incoming and outgoing correspondence, reports and other materials submitted for Commanding Officer approval and signatures.
You will answer non-technical requests for information that can be provided based on information forms records, files, programs and personal organizational knowledge.
You will maintain commanding officer's calendars, coordinate meeting arrangements, and schedule meetings.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receives calls, greets visitors, and responds to routine request for information; 2) Utilizes computer software programs to prepare and proofread a wide variety of correspondence, forms or reports for required information and format; and 3) Maintains Commanding Officer's calendar, coordinates meeting arrangements, and schedules meetings.
